The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will no longer enforce the federal mask requirement for passengers and employees at airports.
In accordance with that directive, masks will not be enforced or required inside the Hilton Head Island Airport, at this time. All airlines operating at the airport have presently suspended their mask requirement for boarding an aircraft on a domestic flight.
The lifting of the TSA mandate applies to US airports; however airlines, airports and destinations may have additional COVID-19 regulations and protocols. Any passengers traveling should contact their airline and destination for requirements specific to their trip.
